Let’s face it — not only do the holidays mean rich food, shopping, and friends and family, but it also means travel. Lots of us will be heading out of town to visit the folks in a few weeks, and Nokia — ever ready to add to the holiday cheer — is releasing the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition in time for road-trippers all over the United States.
The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is a 3.2-inch touchscreen device that offers voice navigation at all points in North America. It comes with a special car kit that lets you mount it at a convenient spot — on the dashboard or the windscreen.
Ovi Maps for mobile offers the turn-by-turn navigation, as well as speed limit warnings, traffic info, speed camera alerts, terrain maps, and 3-D landmarks. Lonely Planet, Wcities, and Michelin take care of the points of interest, and a weather service gives daily and weekly forecasts.
The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition will set you back a reasonable $299, and is available from the Nokia USA website and retail stores.
