Nokia has introduced another mobile phone, this time the 5330 Mobile TV Edition. According to a Nokia estimate, some 300 million people will want to watch live TV on their mobile phones by 2012 and this new handset caters to this growing audience by offering mobile broadcast TV technology (DVB-H).
The phone will include a QVGA 2.4-inch full color screen, a 3.5mm headphone jack for private viewing and a long life battery that is capable of 6 hours of mobile TV viewing.
Aside from the TV features, the 5330 also includes social networking software for the popular social sites such as YouTube, Facebook, MySpace. There is also a 3.2MP camera with 4x digital zoom with LED flash that can capture both stills and video.
The Nokia phone will sell for 155 Euros ($230 US) before taxes and subsidies.
