
Nokia has announced the release of the Nokia 5230 touchscreen phone. The entry level handset features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 2 megapixel digital camera, 3.5mm jack, A-GPS navigation and a microSD card slot that can support up to 16GB.
In terms of connectivity, the 5230 supports both the dual band GSM/HSDPA and quad band GSM.
The mobile phone also includes an FM radio as well as a media player with 33 hours of playback. Subscribers will have the option of connecting to the Ovi Store to download additional digital files be it games, music or video.
The Nokia 5230 will be released in two versions. Pricing will start at 149 EUR with the “Comes With Music” version retailing for 259 EUR.
