A leaf has always been associated with mother nature and a green environment so it seems only fitting that Nissan’s first electric car is known as the Nissan Leaf.

Their latest model is not a hybrid car or a gas powered environmentally friendly vehicle with low emissions. Rather, it is 100% electric which means that it doesn’t burn any fossil fuels and has zero emissions.

As an electric powered car, you may think that the Leaf lacks horse power but rather, this vehicle behaves like any other v6 and can reach speeds of up to 90 mph and has a maximum travel distance of 160Km on a single battery charge. In addition to being environmentally friendly, Nissan has also placed emphasis on the interior, making it roomy enough to seat 5 passengers comfortably.
With 5 doors, a navigation system and advanced airbags, this electric car is a nice about face from our dependence on fossil fuels.
