Get the exercise clothes out and be ready for a full body workout as Nintendo plans to release the Wii Fit Plus on October 4th, a follow-up to their popular exercise program Wii Fit.
Wii Fit Plus comes with 15 mini-games that cover yoga for flexibility, balance activities as well as a variety of new exercises. Some of the physical routines will also make use of the Wii remote for the very first time. Users will also have the option of customizing workout routines and targeting specific muscle groups.
Wii Fit Plus will be available as a standalone disc for $19.99 or as part of a complete package that includes the original Wii Fit and balance board for $99.99.
Nintendo has also announced that during the holiday season, consumers will have the option of purchasing the Wii remote, nunchuk and MotionPlus in black.
“All of these announcements bring more options and more choices to consumers as our industry heads into its busiest time of the year,” said Nintendo of America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. In keeping with the theme of choice and selection, September 13th will mark the day that Nintendo will release the Nintendo DSi in white and pink to complement the DSi gaming console currently available in blue and black.
