The Nikon Media Port UP device looks like reverse engineered Borg technology, providing it’s wearer a host of multimedia information. The device supports up to 120 minutes of playback video and 270 minutes of continuous playback music. This is all through the 4 GB (model UP300) or 8 GB (UP300X) internal memory that the Media Port UP comes with.
You would think that watching video at such close proximity would not be a pleasurable experience, but Nikon claims the sensation provided by this gadget is as if you were watching video on a 50-inch screen at a distance of three meters.
Some of the other features of the Media Port UP include hands free operation with the built in motion-sensor, web browsing via Wi-Fi connectivity, and a rechargeable battery. Resistance is futile, you can pick one up for 59,800 yen ($580) at the Up Store
