Apple has always been a good media machine, capable of building hype around future technologies that they are planning on implementing. For weeks leading up to the official January 27, 2010 Apple iPad announcement, there was considerable buzz about what the name would be and what new features would be included in the new tablet.
With the announcement of the Apple iPad tablet done and over with, the buzz about Apple products has not really slowed down. Rather, the attention has moved from the iPad tablet to the next generation of the Apple iPhone.
As the rumor mill begins to churn, we are starting to hear that the new iPhones will feature 720p high definition as the Apple device will support 1280 pixel wide video or a total pixel count of 921,000 which equates to 1280 x 720 or 720p. It’s not quite clear at this time if HD will be available for both video recording and playback or just playback.
I’m sure that as 2010 progresses, we can expect more rumors, leaks as well as some official Apple news regarding the new iPhone.
