Retweet has long been an unofficial way of sharing information with fellow Tweeters. If you find an interesting tweet through Twitter that you want to share with your followers, you’d add RT @ (Retweet at) before your tweet.
Twitter is looking to make this a permanent feature and as such, they are now piloting this new feature with a select group of twitter users, much like they did when they rolled out the Twitter list feature. By doing this pilot, they can work out any bugs before they begin a mass roll-out.
From the above mock-up, users will now have access to a retweet button adjacent to the reply button. There will also be a series of tabs so that you can track retweets by others, retweets by you, and you’re tweets retweeted.
Pretty cool that they decided to introduce this feature, after all, retweet is a staple of the Twitter community.

I find this update worth considering, but seems like my twitter profile is not as lucky as other
lucky people who see this new update
Hopefully their pilot won’t last all that long and they’ll roll this feature out quickly to all users.
