With the iPhone 5 launch now appearing in the rear view mirror, it’s time to turn our attention to another one of Apple’s upcoming big launches and this time it has to do with their tablet. With other companies showing considerable success with smaller form factor tablets, Apple is planning on following suit with the release of one of their own.
With the iPhone 5, there were many leaks as well as pictures and in the end, much of this information turned out to be accurate. For the iPad Mini, we’ve also had quite a number of leaks and if the sources for both leaks do end up being the same, analysts have a pretty good idea of just what this device will look like. In fact, a new image has surfaced recently that shows not just the case, but of the entire device. This is said to be the first iPad Mini image available. Is the image real or photoshopped is another question, but there is a good chance of this being legitimate.
The iPad Mini is expected to be announced next month and the reason why Apple waited a month between the release of their tablet and their iPhone is simply to give customers a bit of time between purchases. Foxconn is also said to be working at maximum capacity and along with Pegatron, both firms will be involved in the production of this device.
