Some of us treat our desktop PC’s like our cars — we don’t give a second thought about spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars for pimping purposes. If you’re into sci-fi and looking for a new case mod to try out, you might want to check out the Morphius (yes, that’s how it’s spelled) Robot PC case mod.

The Morphius Robot PC case mod looks like the upper half of a Japanese robot from way back in the 80’s. It’s nifty enough, with shiny fiberglass and resin casing and lights that give that real “mecha” look. The wires that make the mod work are exposed, and only adds to its battle-ready appearance.
The modder obviously took months to make this mod, starting with a clay model that gave shape to the silicon mold. The resin-and-fibeglass shell was then finished off with shiny car paint, making it look very sleek for a “war-ravaged” robot — the lower half of the robot mod serves as the four-legged pedestal.
The Morphius Robot PC case mod may look quiet next to other PC mods we’ve seen, such as the The Great Pyramid and the Lego House. But if you’re looking for something that’s really original (and maybe give a little life to your FPS gaming experience), this is a worth a try.
