NVIDIA’s new video cards, the GTX 470 and GTX 480 are to be officially unveiled in a weeks time from now, but today, we’ve received some new details about pricing and hardware specs.

Of the two cards, the GTX 470 is the lower priced card at $349 and has been developed for the budget conscious. The GTX 470 comes with 446 shader processors, a TDP of 225W and a 320-bit memory interface.

The GTX 480 on the other hand is priced at $499 or $150 more then its junior. The GTX 480 has 480 shader processors, TDP of 295W, a 384-bit interface with 1.5GB GDDR5 RAM and clock speeds of 700MHz (core), 1,401MHz (shaders) and 1,848MHz (memory).

It’s worth noting that the pricing and hardware information that is being reported has not been officially confirmed by the card manufacturer, but that should be coming shortly along with all the benchmarking tests and card reviews which will help the consumer to decide whether to invest in the new card technology or not.
