New Apple Macbook

The Apple rumor mill never stops buzzing, and it appears that news feeds all over the world are replete with news of a new MacBook in Apple’s production mills. It appears the original MacBook, which is already a notebook PC phenomenon in itself, is about to get an upgrade.

Details are scant at this point, but Apple has hinted that a new MacBook would be even thinner than the one we’ve all come to know and love. It’s going to have a thinner battery and a thinner polycarbonate casing.

What’s more, the MacBook is very likely going to come with a thinner price tag, as well. The economic climate isn’t really back up on its feet just yet, so we’ll be expecting the new MacBook to cost around $950-ish — a pretty attractive price for an opportunity to move to the highly popular OS X Snow Leopard.

Still no word on when it’s going to come out, but it’s likely it’ll hit store shelves at exactly the same date as the new iMacs. Looks like another Apple party’s coming our way.
