New iPhone 5 Battery Leaked?

A new day begins and we’ve got another leak pertaining to Apple’s upcoming sixth generation iPhone or iPhone 5. When you consider just how much public interest there is in regards to this device, it’s very likely that we will continue to see leaks all the way up to the day that this device launches.

In fact, public interest in the iPhone 5 has been so high that it has impacted current iPhone sales as customers wait to see what the new Apple smartphone will bring to the table. Today’s leak shows what is said to be the iPhone 5 battery. The specifications of the battery are that it has a capacity of 1440 mAh which is 10 mAh higher then the 1430 mAh batteries that reside within the current iPhone 4S. A higher capacity battery can mean that the iPhone 5 will have a longer life then earlier models, but at the same time, the higher capacity battery may have nothing to do with running time, but rather, the additional capacity could be required to support the bigger screens and 4G network connections that this device is said to have.

Based upon the label on the battery, this one was manufactured two months ago which means that it does coincide with the expected September iPhone 5 announcement.
