Generally speaking, September is a busy month. The summer is coming to an end and kids are heading back to school. September is also the beginning of a busy technology season and in terms of the Cupertino company, Apple, we know that there are a couple of products that they plan on launching before the end of this year.
Although Apple hasn’t come out with any official news regarding their new iPad mini, a series of leaks has given rise to a picture of just what this device will look like. In fact, we’ve seen a few mock-ups in the past regarding the iPad Mini and the key feature that is emphasized is the form factor. Now, before we continue, it’s important to reiterate that these are mock-ups that are based upon various pieces of information that have made their way into the public realm and they represent the designers impression of just what the new tablet will look like.
The images that have come to light today again focus on the form factor and show that the iPad mini will have a thinner bezel, one that is thinner then the new iPad. In fact, it’s believed that the thickness of this device will be similar to that of an iPod. One of the big advantages that Apple gains with a thinner bezel is that it allows the iPad mini to be even more compact, but at the same time, still feature a 7-inch display screen. Expect to see the iPad Mini this October after the iPhone 5 launch takes place in September.
