
In May, Google [GOOG] launched search options on its side panel that allows for fine tuning search results. Google has now enhanced this search feature by adding nine new Search Option Tools, which allow for more refined and personalized searches.
Just search for Google and then click on “Show options” in the blue bar under the logo. Search option tools include: past hour, specific date range, more shopping sites, fewer shopping sites, visited pages, not yet visited, books, blogs and news. For example if you wanted to view only the newest information then you would use the past hour option.
If you wanted to search from a specific time frame then you would use the specific date range option. If you didn’t want to see shopping ads then you can click on fewer shopping sites, and so on. These features are now available globally.
