When it comes to free email providers, Google Gmail is an exceptional product that is unmatched. Today, on the official Gmail Blog, Google announced a new feature known as Undo Send. Have you ever sent a nasty email or a message that was supposed to have an email file attachment, only to realize that after you hit the send button that it wasn’t included.
It’s not often that you get a chance to redo something, but the Undo Send feature is exactly that. Once you send you message, you will have 5 seconds to recall it so that you can make the necessary changes required. According to engineer Yuzo Fujishima, “just five seconds would be enough time to catch most of those regrettable emails.”.
This feature will certainly help with immediate fixes, but if won’t help if you happen to send a strongly worded email while in a drunken stupor, only to realize what you’ve done after sobering up. In these cases, you may still be back to grovelling on your knees.

Very cool! It’s like the morning after pill for your email. It would be better if you had more time though!

Great analogy, you are right though, five seconds doesn’t sound like a lot of time to recall an email.
Five seconds might work for attachment forgets, but if it’s an angry email…Never click send when finished. Write it, save it to drafts cool off and think it over. Heck, might even want to make it better. After a couple of regrets I force myself on this one.
