New 2010 iPod Shuffle Gets Buttons Again

Prior to today’s Apple event, several industry pundits had predicted that the smallest of Apple’s music players, the iPod shuffle line would be scrapped altogether. This however, turned out to be incorrect with Apple giving the third generation model a new look.

The 2010 iPod Shuffle appears to be a hybrid of the two earlier models as it reintroduces physical buttons, as consumers “clearly missed” these according to Steve Jobs, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer. The new iPod Shuffle will be available in five color choices and will also have a clip on the back so that you can attach it to your clothing while you go on doing your business.

The device, which comes with a 15-hour battery life and voiceover capabilities. It will sell for $49.
