MSI announced the launch of the U115 hybrid notebook. This is the first notebook that is able to use both SSD (Solid State Drive) and HDD hard drives simultaneously.
The U115 notebook will work primarily with SSD, offering users a shock resistant, quick system. The new notebook will also offer an “ECO On” mode, which when activated, will significantly improve battery life by disconnecting the HDD system.
The U115 will come with an IntelĀ® Atom Processor Z530 (1.60GHz), 1 GB DDR2 533MHz RAM (upgradeable to 2GB), 10″ 1024×600 LCD Panel, 2 storage drives (120Gb/160Gb HDD and 2 8Gb/16Gb SSD).
No word on pricing yet, but that should be coming soon.
