The Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta internet browser has been in the works for some time now and the tech blog Engadget had predicted that its official launch could be as early as July.
Recently, additional information about the beta browser has become available courtesy of Beltzner who offers a video presentation for the Mozilla community at large. The key take away points are that Firefox 4 should be a faster browser, that it should be more powerful and support the latest web technologies (eg HTML5) and finally that it should allow Internet users better access control over their data, browser and web experience.
It’s nice to see that Mozilla has been so open in terms of their objectives, often it’s the other way around when announcements are made once all the new features have been finalized and approved.
Lastly, the information within the video presentation is fluid with some changes possible depending upon what comes up during the development process.
