July 2nd is the expected release date for Motorola’s newest Android OS smartphone, the Motorola XT720. The latest handset is said to be quite similar to another Motorola phone, the Milestone but does have a couple of enhancements including an 8MP camera, a slimmer design and the elimination of the QWERTY slide out keyboard.
The 3.7-inch touchscreen Motorola XT720 will also feature high definition video recording, support for 32GB RAM, a 720MHz processor chip and Google Android 2.1 which is said to be slower then Android 2.2 or Froyo.
More details are still expected to come as Motorola has not announced UK pricing or mobile carriers that will offer this handset next month.
