If you’ve been following the rising trend of luxury phones, then you’ve obviously heard of the Motorola Aura — released last year, it was one of the most expensive phones ever released. This year, Motorola outdoes itself again with the Motorola Aura Diamond Edition, which can be yours for US$5,730.
This little investment comes with 34 diamonds, most of which line the flashy circular display, and is plated with 18-carat gold. Last year’s aura was promoted by football star David Beckham — let’s see who touts this one.
When it comes to the specs, the Aura Diamond Edition is high-average — quad band GSM/EDGE connectivity, stereo Bluetooth, e-mail, 2MP camera, web browser, multimedia players, and 2GB of memory.
The Aura Diamond Edition is already out, but as mentioned before, you’ll need to shell out a serious amount of money for this little baby. But if you’re not really into luxury phones but would like to see what Motorola has up its sleeves anyway, you might want to stick around for the Motorola Droid — which will be Motorola’s flagship Android phone.
