Motorola Flipout With Android OS

Last month, leaked information revealed a square shaped mobile phone that was being developed by Motorola. At the time, the Motorola phone was called the Twist in reference to the Nokia 7705 handset which came with a similar form factor.

As per HDBlog.it, the mystery Motorola device has been renamed to the Flipout and new details about these device have begun to emerge. The device will include a full QWERTY keyboard positioned below a screen display that will offer 2.8-inches of real estate. The Flipout comes with an integrated 3.1MP digital camera, GPS navigation and a 700MHz processor chip. Google Android will also be the operating system of choice with version 2.1 being most likely.

The Motorola Flipout will be available in 3 colors and we are still waiting for further details from Motorola about pricing and a launch date.
