When Verizon’s Motorola Droid Devour / Calgary was seen, it appeared that the unit was only available in a single color, black. New images have now surfaced indicating that consumers will at least have a choice of two color selections, black and now silver.

Although Verizon hasn’t announced an official launch date for the Motorola Droid Devour, some suspect, Verizon may be holding out until CES 2010 on Jaunuary 7th, what we do know about the Devour is that it will include a full QWERTY keyboard and will come with the Google Android 2.1 operating system that will allow for easy access to the Google suite of products (eg Gmail, Google Maps, etc). Additionally, the smartphone will also include Blur, Motorola’s proprietary user interface which is said to be quite user friendly, making navigation even easier. Blur will also support access to both business and personal email as well as social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

Finally, The Motorola Devour will have an optical trackpad, WiFi, a 3 mega-pixel digital camera, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 1420 mAh battery.
