It’s great to have the convenience garnered by having a portable laptop computer, but what you gain in portability, you may lose in the area of personal comfort. If desk space is not readily available, it can sometimes be a challenge to balance a notebook on your lap as you try and get your work done.
The Logitech Comfort Lapdesk is a piece of modern home office furniture that addresses this need so that you can enjoy laptop computing from the comforts of your bed, sofa or even the floor.
A number of features have been built into it’s design to improve leg and neck comfort. The Lapdesk comes with a four-layer heat-shield to protect your legs from notebook heat while the soft air-mesh fabric on it’s underside is gentle on the legs. Add to this the twelve-degree angled riser and you know you’ll find a setting that will ensure that you don’t develop upper back and neck pain.
Keeping in the spirit of the laptop, the Lapdesk is lightweight and portable so that it can be easily stored under a bed or sofa when not being used.

I might need this. I like to use my laptop while sitting on the sofa, but the heat forces me to abandon the position in less than 20 min. What’s the use of having a laptop if I can’t use on my LAP? Thanks for the link.
