
Adobe isn’t the only one that is busy fixing vulnerabilities that exist within their software as Microsoft [MSFT] has confirmed that they to will be addressing 13 different vulnerabilities that have been found in the Windows operating system, Windows Office Suite and Internet Information Services (IIS).
In total, 9 bulletins have been announced of which 4 are deemed critical. These patches which will be available on Tuesday will address flaws that can be found on all flavors of Windows including the highly popular Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.
In regards to the Office fixes that are to come, they will address security holes in Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and XP. This round of security fixes doesn’t beat the record that was announced back in August, but it is still important to remain vigilant to ensure that you have a secure system.
