Microsoft Arc Mouse - Portable Yet Practical

Laptops are great for their portability, you can just about take a laptop anywhere and setup shop. The entire unit is self contained which is a real plus, but for some, having to use a trackpad or trackpoint can be a real pain, especially if this is something you are not quite comfortable with.
Microsoft has tried to address some of these concerns with their Arc mouse. The Arc mouse provides all the comfort and familiarity of a desktop mouse, yet when not in use, it can be folded to 60% of it’s original size, thereby offering the user a high degree of portability.

Microsoft claims that that the Arc mouse will run for over 6 months on 3 AAA batteries and that the mouse also powers itself off when in the folded state, thereby conserving battery life. The MSRP for this mouse is $59.95 USD.
