Microsoft Announces Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle

Microsoft announced at the Tokyo Game Show that new Xbox 360 holiday bundles will be available at retail outlets starting Wednesday, November 19. There are a couple of different holiday bundles available, the cheapest being the Xbox 360 Arcade Holiday Bundle. This bundle, priced at $199 US, includes 6 free games (SEGA Superstars Tennis and 5 Xbox Live Arcade games).

For a little more cash, you can pick up the Xbox 360 console ($299 US) or the Xbox 360 Elite ($399) which pair up the console with Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and Kung Fu Panda.

The new Xbox Experience will offer consumers a variety of features including:

  • Live Parties – Voice chat with 7 friends while playing games
  • Personality plus – The ability to create a personalized Avatar
  • On Demand Entertainment – streaming of TV episodes and movies through Netflix
  • Games for the community, by the community – Thousands of games created by the Xbox community will be available to the public
