The day after the Super Bowl game is known as much for the funny TV commercials as it is for the on field play by play game action. In regards to yesterdays sporting event, there are many that felt that the Super Bowl commercials didn’t quite live up to the traditions created in past year.
Google did have their Parisian Love commercial that Eric Shmidt hinted about in a tweet and not to be outdone, Motorola showed off their new mobile phone, the Motorola Devour with the Transformers movie star Megan Fox using the handset while in a bathtub.
The Motorola Devour is designed on the Google Android 1.6 platform and includes a 3.1-inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) touchscreen display, 3MP digital camera with fixed focus and digital zoom, integrated 802.11 b/g WiFi network connectivity and Bluetooth technology, QWERTY keyboard, a native music player and GPS service.
As a Google powered phone, you’ll also get access to the suite of Google products and services including Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Google Search By Voice and the Android Marketplace.
Expect to see the Motorola Devour retail next month when it will be available through the Verizon network. Pricing and terms have not been announced yet, but should be coming shortly.
