Homemade bread is becoming someone what of a lost art form with people looking for convenience and choices which are available at the local supermarket. Although I’m one of these people, I have to say that there is nothing that compares to homemade bread that is fresh out of the oven.
There’s a local restaurant in town that we go to frequently that will provide you with a loaf of their homemade bread fresh out of the oven once you have placed your meal orders. The amount of bread they provide is quite a bit and although each time we go, we always say that we won’t fill up on bread, inevitably, we do fill up simply because it tastes so good with melted butter.
The Konepan breadmaker from Megahouse is a nice concept. It takes what people like, bread, and shapes it into shapes that kids adore. A total of 14 different shapes are available, including the standard bunnies, all the way to elephants, grapes and squirrels. Once the dough has been created, cooking time is under 15 minutes.
If you’re kids are fussy preferring only white bread, you never know what additional nutrients you might be able to provide them with if you make your own bread and use things such as whole grains, seeds, etc.
Does anyone know where to buy the Konepan? I tried the Megahouse website and Amazon.co.jp, but neither ship to America. I have also looked at ebay. Please help!!
Hi Kitsune,
Although Megahouse does not ship to the US, have you tried contacting them to see if they have a US distributer for the Konepan?
