Mebius NJ70A – Netbook With Optical Sensor LCD Pad

Announced by Sharp Corp., the Mebius NJ70A is their new netbook that comes with an optical sensor LCD pad.

This is the first netbook to offer this feature and the advantage of it is that it supports handwriting recognition. As a result, when writing memos, you can add that personal touch by using either a stylus pen or your finger.

Along with the ability to add handwriting to documents, the NJ70A also includes piano software and a zoom in/out feature similar to the iPhone. It will probably be about another month before this goes to retail and no Netbook price has been announced at this time.
