Matrox has announced a new multi-display monitor video card, model M9148 LP PCIe. The new graphics card supports 4 LCD displays at a resolution of 2560 x 1600 for each display.
The Matrox video card also includes 1GB of video memory as well as a series of desktop management features that allow the end user to extend the Windows Taskbar across multiple screens and supports independent or stretched modes.
There’s no reason that a video card such as this can’t be used for online video games, but such a work horse is designed more for government, business or industrial applications.
The Matrox M9148 LP PCIe video card will go on sale later this year with pricing still to be announced.
