As a kid, can you remember bringing toys to the dinner table, only to be frowned upon by your parents. I can remember many a lecture where I was told that you can play after you finish your dinner and not a moment sooner.
Designer Tineke Beunders has come out with a cool design called the Marbelous Table. This table blends the practicality utilitarian nature of adult furniture, with the livelihood and playfulness of a child’s table.
This hand carved maple table, who’s dimensions are 200cm x 90 cm x 76cm, has a marble track carved around the sides of the table, down the legs and there’s even a track underneath the table.
There’s no question, just how much fun children will have with this table, in fact, they have so much fun that dinner time will take the entire evening. I think parents will also admire the playfulness of the table as it will bring back memories of childhood.
