Magic Message Mirror Security System

Looking at the Magic Message Mirror Security System, I can’t but help think of Disneyland and the mirror that the witch had in the Snow White fairy tale. Rather then you asking this mirror who’s the fairest in the land, this security system waits until a certain trigger brings it to life.

While in a dormant state, the mirror looks like any normal mirror, you wouldn’t be able to tell otherwise. When a trigger occurs, Basil of the mirror, an English butler personality will awake and provide you a security status update. If at the time that the M30P security system was installed, cameras were also installed and configured, then when Basil awakes, video feeds that caused the trigger will also be observed in the mirror.

The M30p comes with over 100 messages that Basil can recite, but the manufacturer recognizes that it could be a pain to have to listen to Basil for every little thing. As such, out of the box, Basil comes programmed with 10 phrases of your choosing. Some of the more popular phrases are below:

• “Hmmm…most curious… it seems that we have a pedestrian approaching up our driveway”
• “For your information… a motor car has departed”
• “It appears that a pedestrian is exiting out of our driveway”
• “May I inform you that the motor car garage door has just been opened”
• “Pardon me, this is merely a reminder, but the motor car garage door is still not secure”
• “Will someone please greet our guests at the door!”
• “Ahh yes….. it seems the Jacuzzi is now at the selected temperature”
• “Pardon me, but isn’t it time to leave for practice”
• “Alarm! Alarm! The pool gate has been opened”
