Loopa - The no spill bowl

Most inventions come about by inventors, not trying to solve world problems, but rather trying to simplify a common everyday task that they perform themselves. If you’ve ever watched those invention reality shows on TV, you’ll notice that most investors spend quite a bit of money designing a product, which often doesn’t make it past the concept stage.

Here is one example to the contrary, where a product has made it past the prototype stage to launch.

The mother and father team of Melinda and Brad Shepherd had a young child, which like all children at that age, would spill food. After multiple cleanups, the Shepard’s thought a bit of ingenuity would help the situation.

Hence, Loopa, the spill proof bowl was born. Originally called, Nuo, the spill proof bowl was renamed to the Löopa gyro bowl. This bowl swivels, dips and oscillates with every turn that the child makes. This ensures that the contents of the bowl remains inside the bowl.

Similar to most child cutlery, this bowl is brightly colored and has a unique shape, which will make mealtime interesting for the child.

Heather,

I haven’t come across a store in Canada that sells this item, but you can purchase the bowl online.
