Described as “an internet computer that works great with your favorite websites,” the Litl Easel Webbook is a netbook that comes with a 12-inch LCD display that is capable of bending virtually backwards so that it looks like a folding easel display, thereby allowing you to share video content or data files with those around you.
The Webbook includes a high quality LCD display that has been specially designed to provide a 178-degree viewing angle as well as better color resolution. The GPU (graphics processing unit) within the unit is able to decode H.264 video at 720p resolution.
Under the hood, the netbook offers a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 2GB flash storage, 1GB RAM, WiFi support and a built in mic and camera so that you can participate in video conference calls.
The unit retails for $699 which seems a bit steep for a netbook with no touchscreen display. If you want an optional remote control, you’ll need to fork over an additional $15.
