Get ready for the British invasion. It’s not an Apple iTunes download, but if you’re looking for a legitimate digital copy of the remastered Beatles catalogue that was released on September 9th, you may be in luck as it is being released in digital format on a 16GB USB stick that is shaped like a green apple.
Available on December 8th, this will be a limited release, restricted to just 30,000 units and for the audiophiles out there, sound quality should be good as the entire catalogue is encoded in FLAC. For those that like portable music, there is also a 320 Kbps version included as well.
The USB stick will cost $280 which is $60 more then the CD box set, but it will include a number of extra goodies including rare pictures of the fab four, mini-documentary films and replica UK album art.
