LG has announced the release of a new Windows Phone 7 (WP7) smartphone called the LG Optimus 7. The WP7 phone, which also goes by the name LG E900, has the capacity to share multimedia files with other devices that you may have that are DLNA certified.
As a result of this, you can exchange high definition video files, high fidelity audio files and high resolution pictures with other devices like a home theater system that reside within the same wireless network. Although we do know that the LG E900 is scheduled to be released in Q4 of this year, it is unclear for how much this device will retail for and in which global markets it will be available in. However, the WP7 phone is being showcased at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin, so hopefully we’ll learn more about this device in the coming days.
