LG 55LH95 55LH93 Ultra Slim LCD HDTV

LG Electronics has recently launched two new LCD televisions that are making waves for all the right reasons. Leading electronic innovators, LG Electronics, chose Seoul, Korea as their city of choice to unveil their two latest ultra slim ‘full LED’ LCD TV’s. The newest models, the 55LH95 and the 55LH93 offer 55 inch screens and the very best in terms of quality, design and convenience. In fact, the LG models offer 3,360 LEDs which is seven times more than the previous LED TV’s on the market.

Additional features of the new LCD’s include a 5,000,000:1 ratio through enhanced dimming technology, a 240 block screen divider, a 240 Hz refresh rate and the ultra sleek thickness of only 24.88 mm. These features make the LG models the brightest and clearest televisions on the market today.

However, it is the enhanced wireless feature, which puts the new LG LCD’s ahead of the competition. With this wireless feature, content can be sent from DVD players, home theatre units and game consoles without image compression.

According to LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company President and CEO, Simon Kang, these televisions are “designed specifically to target the high end segment and offer unmatched quality and design.”
The LG televisions are priced at approximately $5,500 USD to $5,900 USD and they will hit the global markets in July 2009.

These two new televisions are the start to LG’s 2009 unveiling of three different models to suit various market segments, all in an attempt by LG Electronics to grow their market and become the world’s second biggest seller of LCD televisions in the world.
