The LG IQ (or Monaco) looks like it will launch for $99 on the Telus Network before the end of the year. This will be Telus’ first handset that will run on the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform.
The LG handset includes a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen (480×800 display resolution), a Qualcomm SnapDragon 1Ghz processor, QWERTY keyboard (4 row slide out), fingerprint sensor lock, 5MP digital camera with auto focus and wireless support for Bluetooth 2.1, aGPS and WiFi.
The Windows mobile handset measures 113×55x15.6 mm, has a weight of 127 grams and also includes a 1500Mha battery. As it is a Windows phone, the unit will come with access to the Windows Marketplace for Mobile from which customers will be able to download software applications as necessary.
Last but not least, an optional pocket projector will also be available for any digital media you may want to present on a nearby wall.
