LG 3D OLED TV Prototype

At the Berlin IFA trade fair this week, LG plans to unveil a 3D OLED TV. The new LG TV will hold the distinction, at least for now, of being the world’s thinnest television set available. It will measure just 2.9mm in thickness and has a viewing screen which is 31-inches in size.

Little else is known about this OLED TV prototype as it would appear that LG is keeping things quiet until it’s official unveiling at which time, we should also get some idea if LG even plans to make this device available to the consumer market and if so, at what price. In addition to this prototype, LG will also showcase another LED TV in the LG LEX8. Like the 3D OLED TV, the LEX8 will also be the world’s thinnest with a bezel that measures 1.25 cm. Again, LG has just offered up teasers but more should be known about these devices as well as possible new 3D TV sets as IFA progresses.
