For the Japanese market, the latest Lenovo laptop is the IdeaPad U150. Featuring a CULV processor, the new notebook has an 11.6-inch, 1,366×768 pixel resolution screen display with Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB hard drive and a 6 cell battery that provides 7 hours of battery life on one charge.
The U150 weighs about 3.3 pounds and has a thickness of 0.5″ to 1.35″. The notebook will also include the standard networking features we would expect such as WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, as well as wired gigabit ethernet. The Lenovo laptop also includes Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (32 bit) pre-installed.
Pricing for the new laptop nor a US launch date has not been announced but considering the demand for Windows 7, we’ll probably see this ultraportable laptop sooner rather then later.
