Lego Mouse Brings Some Nerdy Nostalgia

The Lego Mouse

Let’s face it — most, if not all, of us grew up with Lego. The little stackable building blocks offered infinite possibilities, and filled our childhoods with the virtual infinity of house designs, spaceships, and dreams before we got boxed into Real Life. But if you still love Lego in this day and age and would like to broadcast this love to your immediate surroundings, then the new Lego Mouse might be for you.

The Lego Mouse looks like a much larger version of a 2×4-peg block, and comes with the standard two buttons and scroll wheel. This optical mouse connects to your PC or Mac via USB, and costs $31.96 at the Curiosite website.

Of course, such an oddly-shaped mouse will inevitably have its disadvantages. It’s obviously not the most ergonomic mouse in the world, and might cause a few problems for power users. It also only comes in bright red (maybe at least for now).

Still, it should make for an interesting peripheral, especially if you’re working at home and have your laptop and your kid’s Legos on the dining table half the time.
