Samsung Intercept Will Replace The Moment

The Samsung Moment will soon be replaced by the recently leaked Samsung Intercept, a handset that will come with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a slide out QWERTY physical keyboard. The Bluetooth 2.1 sporting device will follow recent handsets with its strong integration and fast access to social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

At a minimum, the Intercept will come with Android 2.1 but the possibility does exist that by the time the shipping date rolls around, Android 2.2 will be on the handset. Full details of the new Samsung phone will come with the official press release but it’s a good guess to say that it will have a camera/video camera and most likely WiFi and GPS functionality. A cool feature that this phone will deliver is Google Voice Search whereby users can talk to complete text messages, email or Facebook posts. Sprint will have the Samsung Intercept on July 11th.
