You may remember the British inventor Sir James Dyson who late last year introduced a bladeless room fan that brought an entirely new form factor to fans that really haven’t changed all that much over the years.
Dyson is back again, this time showing off a pair of larger, more powerful fans. The smaller of the two fans is the AM02 Tower, a bladeless fan that measures 19cm in width and 1m in height. It is capable of drawing in 33L of air per second, amplifying it by 16 times using the “Air Multiplier” technology and then cooling the room. This fan is available in either blue/silver or plain silver.
The second Dyson fan is the even larger 1.4m tall AM03 Pedestal fan which has an “air multiplier” strength of 18x. This unit is available in white or silver. Both models will retail for £300 in the UK or $450 US and will include a remote control.
