Many have requested a landscape mode for typing in the more popular applications such as email. With thanks to Michael Schneider who developed the Touch Type application for the iPhone, 3G iPhone, and iPod touch, landscape typing is now a reality.
Having landscape touch typing seems so logical and practical, it just makes sense to have an application such as this one. Michael Schneider’s Touch Type comes with a mini QWERTY as well as a virtual mini numeric keypad. A nice feature of this application is the presence of a send button which automatically pulls up the mail application and adds your message to the body of the message.
Touch Type is available from the iPhone app store for $0.99 US.
