The Kymera Magic Wand universal remote looks like it came straight off the set of Harry Potter. The TV remote does away with buttons for flipping channels or adjusting volume. Rather, the device has an accelerometer built into the wand that recognizes hand gestures.
Swirl the wand either clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease volume. Change TV channels with an up or down wand motion.
The Kymera Magic Wand recognizes 13 “magical functions” and is battery powered. The new remote is actually available for purchase rather then being a concept gadget. However, just like the coming attractions, these will be “coming soon”, as in October 1st, although you can pre-order them on the company website for $84.
