Kiwi has launched their own solar charger in the Kiwi U-Powered, a device that unfolds to expose three separate solar panels, thereby increasing the surface area available for recharging. In situations where solar charging is unavailable, you can always return to a conventional USB connection to recharge the internal battery which is capable of retaining its charge for approximately six months.

The Kiwi U-Powered comes with a 2000mAh internal battery as well as standard connectors that are compatible with most of the popular gadgets which are commercially sold.
