Ergonomic keyboards are the rage these days and you’ll notice that they come in all shapes and sizes. I tend to use a plain jane keyboard, it’s fine for me, but every so often, I’ll come across an ergonomic keyboard in my daily travels and it’s pretty wild some of the unique shapes that they can have. All in search of better ergonomics.
Kinesis Freestyle announced today, the release of their new ergonomic keyboard for the Mac that is completely detachable into two separate halves. You may ask yourself why you would want to do this, and the answer is, if you can detach the keyboard in two halves, you can place each half in a position that you prefer, thereby reducing the infamous repetitive strain injury (RSI).
The Kinesis Freestyle keyboard comes with two accessories, namely an Incline so that you can position the keyboard angle, and a VIP which provides palm support.
