Inevitably, the routine upon entering our house is to pretty much fling your shoes in the direction of some vacant space. The following day can often require a bit of search hunting for your shoes. KickIt gives you reason to kick off your shoes and even orientates you in the general direction towards which you should boot them.

KickIt is a shoe cabinet filled with bristles. When you enter the home, boot your shoes into Kickit. The unit will catch your shoes and embed them inbetween bristles. Just a word of warning that if you’re coming home from a late night of drinking, be sure that no one is in your line of fire or you may have some pretty pissed off people.

I like the concept of this design, you still get to kick your shoes off and because you’re always aiming for this unit, you should never need to search for your shoes the next day. The downsides are how do you clean the dirt from inside the unit and the fact that it costs $2,500. That’s a little steep.
