Growing and maintaining plants could not be easier with the Pet Plant by Junyi Heo. The Pet Plant pot can recognize soil conditions such as water levels, temperature, and humidity. Based on these measurements, the pot will generate a score for the plant living conditions, which it then represents pictorially on an LCD display.
The pot is smart enough to recognize an over watering condition, in the event of which, it will drain the excess water into a water vessel. To have these kinds of smarts, the Pet Plant pot needs a power source, which it acquires via a USB connection to an adjacent pc or laptop.
